Cantilever axes with rack and pinion drive are bendable positioning modules in which the drive block is stationary while the cantilever moves. The closed aluminium profile with integrated HIWIN double guide in O-arrangement makes the cantilever axis particularly torsion-resistant, making it particularly suitable for vertical applications with high loads. High feed forces and speeds can also be realised.
