Pokud je lineární vedení behem pohybu nebo v klidovém stavu vystaveno príliš vysokému zatížení nebo nárazum, dochází k trvalé lokální deformaci mezi dráhou a kulickami. Jakmile tato trvalá deformace prekrocí urcitou úroven, zhorší se plynulý provoz vedení. Podle základní definice odpovídá statická únosnost statickému zatížení, které zpusobuje trvalou deformaci o velikosti 0,0001 × prumer kulicky v míste styku, které je vystaveno nejvyššímu zatížení. Hodnoty jsou uvedeny v tabulkách pro jednotlivá lineární vedení. Konstruktér muže tyto tabulky použít k výberu vhodného lineárního vedení. Maximální statické zatížení, kterému je lineární vedení vystaveno, nesmí prekrocit statickou únosnost.

Permissible static moment M0
The permissible static moment is the moment which, in a defined direction and size, corresponds to the maximum possible load on the moving parts by the basic static load rating. The permissible static moment is defined for linear motion systems for three directions: MX, MY and MZ.

Solid steel block SE
For continuous operation at temperatures above 80 °C, solid steel blocks with steel deflection systems are used. The standard end seals are replaced by heat-resistant end seals and the plastic cover caps of the profile rail by brass cover caps.

Povlakování HIWIN HICOAT CTS
HICOAT CTS je tenkovrstvé chromování, které poskytuje dobrou ochranu proti korozi a velmi dobrou ochranu proti opotrebení. Vysoká odolnost proti opotrebení je dusledkem velmi vysoké tvrdosti povlakování. Povlakování CTS neobsahuje Cr(VI) a je bezpecné pro potraviny. Je k dispozici pro výrobní rady HG, EG, CG a WE. Long-time lubrication unit E2
The long-time lubrication unit considerably increases lubrication intervals. Depending on the application and ambient conditions, it can achieve lifetime lubrication. It also considerably reduces lubricant consumption, as only the required quantity of lubricant is applied. The compact construction and special design allows the block to be fitted in any position without impairing the lubrication function. The long-time lubrication unit can be used at ambient temperatures of -10°C to +60°C.

HIWIN coating HICOAT CZS
HICOAT CZS is a very thin zinc coating that offers a very good corrosion protection, even on radii and chamfers. Smaller bare parts stay protected by the cathodic corrosion protection. Compared with uncoated pieces this leads to significantly higher periods of use. The CZS coating is available for the HG, EG and CG series. Principle of operation of a linear guideway
A linear guideway makes it possible to move in a linear motion with rolling elements. The use of balls and rolls between the rail and block in a linear guideway makes precise linear movements possible.
Displacement resistance depending on lubrication condition
The displacement resistance of a carriage depends on many factors, e.g. load, temperature, lubricant (grease, fluid grease, oil), lubricant quantity, travel speed, series, size or the sealing system. A concrete specification of the displacement resistance is therefore only possible with defined general conditions. An essential factor here is the lubricant and the lubrication condition. Especially in freshly lubricated condition, the displacement resistance is clearly increased. However, after a running-in period of 15 metres, the displacement resistance is reduced again by approx. 50%.

Linear guideway – grease lubrication via lubricating nipple
In the following video, you can see how a lubricating nipple adapter can be mounted on the carriage of a linear guideway. This reduces the effort for lubrication to a minimum. Lubricants basically reduce wear, protect the component from contamination and thus extend the service life. The lubricant is a constructional element and should therefore be taken into consideration when designing a machine. Like any rolling bearing, HIWIN linear guideways also require an adequate supply of lubricant. Both grease and oil lubrication are possible.

Long-time lubrication unit of a linear guideway
The long-time lubrication unit for linear guideways makes it possible to increase lubrication intervals many times over, thereby considerably reducing the number of maintenance intervals. If needed, up to two long-time lubrication unit can be installed per block.
