Input shafts are the central link for efficient power transmission between the drive and the strain wave gear. They ensure that the rotational movements of the motor are transmitted precisely, efficiently, and reliably to the shaft generator, regardless of the design or operating environment. We can customize the input shaft to your motor. For example, it is possible to adapt the input shaft to a smooth motor shaft, a feather key groove, or a thread.

Types:

Standard types:

  • Oldham coupling (O): radial misalignment compensation
  • Hollow shaft (H): backlash-free, for routing cables or lines

Special designs:

  • Solid shaft (J): backlash-free, connection via shaft journal
  • Flat (E): backlash-free, suitable for motors without feather key groove/li>
  • Rigid (R): backlash-free, with direct connection to the motor and integrated shaft generator in the same component as the motor.
