Our electric actuators are part of a rotary transfer system for labeling in the packaging industry. They perform the exact linear movements required to label packages precisely and transfer them to the next work area in a controlled manner.
The parts to be processed are automatically transported on the rotary table to the individual stations. A HIWIN rotary table from the DMN series is used to move the rotary table. It is particularly well suited for this application due to its high rigidity and accuracy as well as its minimal dimensions. Our electric actuators – also in combination as an XY system – are used at the stations to perform linear punching and pushing movements. They enable consistently high repeat accuracy and can be adapted flexibly to different formats. Particularly advantageous are the compact design for use in confined spaces, direct integration into the PLC control system, and the high precision and dynamic response provided by the electric drive.
With its precise, programmable movements, the electric actuator is the ideal solution for rotary indexing applications and can also be used flexibly for many other automation tasks in the assembly, packaging, and handling ranges.
